Press Release – Operation Home Renovation

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD (AUGUST 19th, 2024) — In honor of Veterans Day 2024, Renovo Home Partners will be awarding veterans and active-duty military members across the country the gift of a new bath or shower replacement, free of charge. This is part of Renovo’s annual giving-back initiative called Operation Home Renovation. 

At Renovo, our goal is to improve the lives of veterans and service members who have sacrificed so much for our country. Remodel USA, a Renovo Home Partner based in Capitol Heights, MD, will be selecting one veteran or active servicemember in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, New York, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut to receive the gift of a safer, more accessible bathing space. We are looking for deserving nominations and will be announcing a winner in September. 

“Giving back to the community is a huge part of Remodel USA’s culture,” said Vice President of Marketing, Shauna Lonergan. “We’re excited to continue giving back to our local veterans and servicemembers by gifting one with a brand-new bath or shower replacement for their home,” Lonergan continued. 

If you know a veteran or active servicemember who owns a home in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, or New York and could use a safer, more accessible bathing space, please visit www.operationhomerenovation.com to submit their information, so we can consider them for this gift of thanks. 

Please include as much detail about their military service, accomplishments, and issues with their current bath or shower, as well as some current photos of their bathroom and bathing space. 

Remodel USA will be replacing their old bath or shower free of charge during the week of Veterans Day 2024. It is our small way of saying “Thank you for your service.” Help us make a difference in the lives of our soldiers with this gift of comfort and safety. 

Nominations will be accepted until August 31, 2024. 

A winner will be announced on Remodel USA’s social media accounts in September.
